StubHub opens new office in Boston
StubHub and PayPal held an open house and ribbon cutting event last week at our brand new, state of the art office at One International Place in the Financial District of Boston, MA.
This special event featured a “reverse pitch smack down!”, where venture capitalists and government officials judged pitches from local startups, as well as remarks on innovation by Secretary of Housing & Urban Development Gregory Bialecki and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino. Mehdi Ghazizadeh, StubHub’s Senior Director of Engineering, and Raji Arasu, StubHub’s CTO (pictured below – far left), attended the event.
Raji Arusu, the CTO of StubHub, spoke about the company’s new plans in Boston. StubHub will be sharing some of PayPal’s space; but more importantly, it is seeking to immediately hire fifty new employees for its Boston development center. Strolling through the StubHub section of PayPal’s offices, desks were already set up to welcome the new hires.
